SEAN TREACY'S, LONDON
Added 22nd February 2011The Sean Treacy's hurling club recently held its AGM South London. A good crowd turned out and we were glad to see so many new members in attendance.
In keeping with the name of Sean Treacy, the mainstay of the club hail from Co. Tipperary, although we do have members from the four corners of Ireland .
The 2010 secretary's report told of what was a progressive year for the club. Off the field, we ran a number of successful fundraising events keeping the clubs finances on an even keel. Many thanks to all our members, affiliates and sponsors for their generous support. On the field, we reached the Senior Hurling Final. Unfortunately, we lost out to a Kilburn team who deservedly won on the day.
Hopes are high, facing into the 2011 campaign, that an even bigger effort from the squad can lead us to a first championship win since 2002.
We always welcome new members, and as a club, we have a policy of helping new members over from Ireland in whatever way we can, to get set up in London. Visit www.seantreacys.com/contacts for all contact details.
